Last night was the last evening for the Dreamcatcher Vase Class I held at Carl Albert State College in Poteau OK. We had a delightful time and made some new friends as well.

Dreamcatcher Gourd Vase

You can’t say she wasn’t enjoying the class!!

On Tuesday the ladies pondered over what gourd they wanted to work on, what center pendant they wanted to use and what their color combinations would be. I think I gave them way too many choices because this took quite a bit but once we settled into our chairs, with GourdMaster Gourd Ink Dyes in hand, their creativity abounded. We were able to get all the gourds painted and clear coated by the end of this first evening.

On Thursday night we started the Dreamcatcher weave.  All the pondering we did on Tuesday evening on what colors we wanted to weave with went away as they rethought the end results.

Fast at work

Fast at work

No one was able to finish their weave before the end of the night  (Whoops, better make the class a little longer 🙂 ) but they all took plenty of Weaving Thread home to finish it all up.

If you missed this class and want to try your hand at it, I have the same class scheduled for September 14th at 11:00am at BrickCity Emporium.  Give yourself at least 4 hours but without the fear of being locked in (as we feared at the college) you can stay until you are finished or take home the materials and finish at home!

Pre-registration is a must so that I can have the materials available. So register today.

Thanks Ladies for a Fun Class!!
